Yeah, studies have shown that homophobes are people who hate themselves for being sexually attracted to men, and they project their self-loathing hate onto other people, who have the courage to live a life that makes them happy.
I am am 80 year old straight woman, wife, mother, grandmother, etc. I have never liked that 3 letter word. I have always thought it condescending. But , what ... because these so called Preachers and haters tell me if I don't like the word, I must be gay? Somehow I don't think so. I don't believe thats how real life works.
But haters espousing such ridiculousness, lies, and hate to the more gullible and to other haters, that is real life. A very sad part, and not a part to be proud of. The best the rest of us can do is to continue to love and befriend our gay friends, family and the LBGTQ community as a whole.

This behavior reminds me of when my son was about 4 and he and a friend would get to talk 60 seconds of toilet talk in the car and they would laugh at anything- like the word toilet.

I believe when we die, our spirit energy joins with billions of other ethereal spirits, who we share our knowledge and experience of our previous, physical life with. And when we decide to once again exist in a physical form, then we can do so, whereever that may be.
What I don't believe in, is a heaven and hell. These are constructs to control early civilisations, through fear of consequences, if they never obeyed the scripture. They needed this form of mind control, because they never had written laws and a police force to enforce them.
Also, all Abrahamic religions, as far as I'm aware, say that God is omnipotent and doesn't make mistakes. Well, if that is the case, then because gays make up a relatively high percentage of the population, then it has to be assumed, that gays are gay, by celestial design, despite what it says in the bible, seeing as the bible was written over three hundred years after the event and written by over twelve different authors.
And what about inter sex people.
Intersex people are born with sex characteristics—including genitals, gonads, chromosomes, or hormone patterns—that do not fit typical binary definitions of male or female bodies. It is a natural variation in human biology, not a disease. Some of these people have women genitallia, but male Chromosomes. So is this another one of God's mistakes, or is this by design. And another flaw with this heaven and earth belief, is how old are we when we die and go to heaven. Suppose a woman is in a fatal accident with her new born female infant and wlderly grand father. Do they all go to heaven and stay the same age, so the mother has to wet nurse her infant child for eternity and never see her grow and flower into a beautiful young woman. Or do they all age normally, so the grand father becomes more and more decrepit?. If they were totally mashed up in the accident, do they magically regenerate into the same physical form and appearance they were before the accident. And if everything is so perfect for eternity in heaven, it would become very boring, very quickly in heaven. People need goals to strive for. We also need trials and tribulations to thrive. How can people know if they are truly happy, unless they have suffered some real hardship and pain in their lives.
The ignorance is rampant - they resort to verbal threats and hateful rhetoric, rather than engage in meaningful debates that show respect for one another. Unfortunately, this type of violent rhetoric has surged in this era of the pedophile-in-chief, over the last 10-11 years. I am looking so forward to his demise - just being honest.
