Trump said it himself and made a lot of his MAGA base angry (not enough because they’re stupid). He said when asked by a reporter why he chose to hire from outside our country. “We need to hire intelligent people to train our people here.” When the reporter gave him a rebuttal he said, “No, we don’t have intelligent people.” He has literally contradicted everything he said he was going to support and he’s profiting from the people he knows are not intelligent enough to recognize it. They are stupid enough to believe they’re benefiting from his corruption.
Yes the crooks holding power in education are profiting just as Trump is now profiting by running our government. My mission is exposing this and getting them out. Granted now Trump wants them crooked but if a Democratic leader were to fix our schools, they’d be a hero and elected by a large margin. Abraham Lincoln warned that the way of the schoolroom in one generation will be the way of the government in the next. The problem is education is too boring to get people reading about it. I love education. I didn’t enjoy school until college because I developed my own pace and didn’t have family distractions as an adult. After I left the military I became an ESL teacher in overseas. I tutored people over nights and studied before class. Then did my day job and repeat for 10 years overseas until I came back stateside. People’s situations tend to dictate what they’re able to give to education. That and their drive to persevere. I just wanted to survive my childhood and then see what life had to offer.
I’m eager to get the truth about education known because I know it will unite people. This is something that I fear. At the same time, I wonder how much of this lack of compassion is coming from online sources as opposed to real people. These days it's hard to know what's coming from Russian, Chinese, etc. bots who are trying to divide us, seemingly successfully. Or are the keyboard warriors the real people who feel free to be awful when no one really knows them? It seems like people are nicer in real life. If we practice that niceness and compassion in real life, we should be that way online as well. I keep holding out hope that compassion will win out in the end and that these people who lack compassion online would express compassion when faced with it in person.
There's a lot of life and so many other influences after high school, and sadly, if they/we don't keep up our knowledge we can be influenced away from it. Also, there is new perspective over time. Example, finding out that policies we've grown up with and accepted are actually racist. It can be a hard shift.

There's a lot of life and so many other influences after high school, and sadly, if they/we don't keep up our knowledge we can be influenced away from it. Also, there is new perspective over time. Example, finding out that policies we've grown up with and accepted are actually racist. It can be a hard shift.
