From 1960 to 1964, I was in the US Air Force. I worked on the radar and computers of the F-101 B fighter-interceptor, a plane that carried two infrared missiles and two atomic rockets. During the Cuban Missile Crisis, I saw the teletype machine in our radar office print out DEFCON (defense condition) alerts all the way up to DEFCON 3.

As the speed of aircraft and missiles has increased, the amount of time necessary to decide the launch of nuclear weapons has decreased. The uncertainty in the international community created by Trump is a nuclear wild card that increased the odds of nuclear war.
This is apparent in the budget negotiations. Most elected officials, even if they’re psychopaths would be troubled by American people losing healthcare,Medicaid, SNAP. Trump simply doesn’t care. Trump doesn’t want the House to function. Trump truly doesn’t believe he will face another election. Trump doesn’t care if people are hungry&as long as he doesn’t care Mike Johnson doesn’t care.
That we have a huge nuclear arsenal should be the 1st thing we think of when voting. Not if you could have a beer with them or they consent to go on Joe Rogan.
A real lack of consideration demonstrated by Trump voters. Brown shirts in our streets, the inhuman legislation that rips food&health security from Americans. Sport blowing up boats in the Caribbean, then the big one for those of us born in the 50s, do you trust this person with American nuclear arsenal?
Mark Milley worried Trump would pull the nuke trigger against some country (Canada? Denmark? China? Venezuela? Colombia?…), so Milley demanded that he (Milley) vet all Trump instructions to use nuclear weapons.
Trump bridled at Milley’s intervention and publicly accused Milley of treason and deserving of execution.
I'm sure the 6 MAG Supreme Court Justices would have no issues with him deploying Nuclear Missiles on United States Citizens since they would consider that to be within well his Official Duties.
I’m reminded of the last scenes in the movie Wargames where the computer finally gains access to the nuclear codes & plays out all the scenarios that could happen. In the end, the computer realizes that the only way to win is for no one to “play”.

Trump has very little military experience yet he knows, as a wannabe dictator, that he needs tight control of the military. His slightly successful destroying of Iran’s uranium refinement sites gave him a false sense of capability with no ramifications.
His creation of a war against Venezuelan narco terrorists will allow him to put the military into any city in America by claiming there are narco terrorists in that city.
His use of ICE will expand to scaring potential voters away from polling stations, and generally invoking fear in law-abiding citizens, making them wary of venturing out. Better to stay safe at home. That is what he wants.
Trump is an emotionally damaged individual who also suffers with a psychological condition "Dunning Kruger," he believes that his small amount of knowledg is much greater than it actual is, he is ignorant. Not fit for leadership.

And Trump’s history as a poor but rich businessman, who has gotten away with multiple bankruptcies and responsibility dodging, gives him absurd confidence that he will not be held accountable. Of course SCOTUS granting him immunity from prosecution topped that sundae. Indeed, not fit for leadership!
Unless more leadership in the military refuse to obey Trump's ILLEGAL orders, and have the troops under them do the same, trump will do whatever he wants, including the unthinkable-nuclear attack.
